I designed a Tumblr theme to solve a particular need/want that I had and I thought others might enjoy it.
This theme is not really intended for everyday blogging use. It was designed for a very specific purpose: To display PHOTOS and LINKS in a way that makes perusing them, and “brainstorming” very easy. (Other types of Tumblr posts will only appear in the Dashboard, not on the public-facing site.)
It’s perfect for keeping a collection of your favorite images, or for sorting through ideas for creative projects. I use it on a public group tumblr, and it’s a great way to collaborate on visual ideas.
[important note: Because Tumblr restricts the maximum width of any uploaded image to 500px, this is the widest that an image may be displayed. Please write to Tumblr to request a higher maximum width if you’d like to see a theme that can take advantage of larger horizontal images.]
